Single Session Therapy FAQ's
What is Single Session Therapy?
It is therapy that lasts for one session.
How long is a session?
60 minutes
How does it work?
The therapist will use a goal-directed approach to help you identify solutions to your concern. The session will focus on discovering your strengths, available resources and new possiblities for responding to the problem.
Can I return for more sessions?
You can book another single session at any time. A new session will focus on the goal you identify for that session.

Our Solution Focused Brief Therapy utilizes a Narrative Therapy approach to help people work through personal and relationship challenges, cope with life transitions and enhance well-being.

Narrative Therapy is a respectful, non-blaming approach to counselling, which centers people as the experts in their own lives.

Our approach assumes people have many skills, competencies, beliefs, values,
commitments and abilities that can assist them to reduce the influence of problems in their lives.

Our single session therapy model helps those we meet with identify goals and develop a plan of action that reflects their values and builds on their strengths and abilities.
